SISEL’s formulators have created Remediate—a powerful combination of ingredients, featuring 5-Loxin and Cat’s Claw—to care for our bodies’ joints. 5-Loxin is made from the gum resin of Boswellia serrata, commonly known as Indian frankincense. Remediate has 15 times more of the boswellic acid AKBA than natural Boswellia serrata, and AKBA supports joint health.¹ 5-Loxin inhibits the enzyme 5-lipooxygenase and reduces the enzyme matrix metalloproteinase—both enemies of healthy joints.² In one study, 50 mg twice daily of 5-Loxin showed clinically and statistically significant support for subjects’ joint function—48%, 24% and 40% (compared with placebo) from VAS, LFI, and WOMAC indices respectively.³

Remediate contains a bark extract of Cat’s Claw, a vine found and used in the Amazon River basin. Cat’s Claw has been found to support cellular signaling and improve measurements of joint health.⁴ In one study, 60 mg daily of Cat’s Claw extract for 24 weeks contributed to joint health by 53% compared to 24% with placebo).⁵ In another study, 100 mg daily of Cat’s Claw extract for just 4 weeks significantly supported joint health by 39% (compared to 12% with placebo).⁶
